Treasure Chest Thursday

I inherited several things when my dear MIL passed away in 2003. Among those items was this lovely fan.

I am not quite sure where she obtained it. [She had 4 of her 7 children in the military and I presumethat one of those sent or brought it to her.]

This fan hangs next to our bed, along with some other family mementos. And I love waking each morning and seeing it. It's a gentle reminder of the lovely woman who was the mother of this man who has brought so much to my life.

Where ever Betty is... I hope she knows how grateful I am.
